Data Analysis Project Manager III - REMOTE

 

The Data Analysis Project Manager III position coordinates data user groups for state Medicaid partners; Coordinates with other internal teams to facilitate data-related training and algorithm development to meet the needs of PI, DA, MR, or other teams as necessary; Works closely with the state Medicaid agencies, subcontractors, and others to ensure the claims data meets the needs of end users; Manages Data Analysis Supervisors and works with Data Manager on other special projects as needed.  

 

In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting CoventBridge Group's objective:  To provide services to our clients that exceed their expectations and contribute to improved healthcare delivery by identifying and eliminating fraud, waste and abuse. 

 

The Data Analysis Project Manager III will report to the Data Manager and will work in our Grove City, OH office, or if not local, remotely from a home office.

Responsibilities/ Requirements

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage DA Supervisors
  • Coordinate quality reviews of Medicare and Medicaid data maintained in the data warehouse of interest
  • Facilitate the writing of new and maintenance of all existing standard algorithms
  • Coordinate all data user groups with state Medicaid partners
  • Coordinate data-related training for internal and external partners
  • Work closely with CMS, state representatives, and subcontractors to ensure the quality and format of the Medicaid data is sufficient to meet the needs of our operations. This includes suggesting changes to the data structure to ensure we continue to meet changing goals or contract requirements
  • Assist the Data Manager in establishing and maintaining relationships with outside Medicaid agencies, particularly those relating to state requested training or algorithm development
  • Support the data analysis teams in the development of ad hoc data analysis techniques to support various data analysis projects
  • Ensure compliance with PIM guidelines and CMS direction concerning data analysis and data management
  • Prepare and submit required reports according to established timeframes
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical assistance regarding Medicare and/or Medicaid claims data
  • Identify opportunities for improvement/advocating quality improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of SAS
  • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid claims processing and reimbursement
  • Knowledge and skills to initiate, develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to achieve stated goals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 

Educational/Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of three years of data analysis experience
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with Medicare/Medicaid claims data

The salary range for this role is $95,000.00 - $115,000.00.  This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
